Our Take On Church

It is not a building, an institution or a formalized organization. It’s a living, breathing, dynamic entity of all people – whether Charismatic or Catholic, whether in Lewis Center or Lithuania , and all places in between – who follow Jesus Christ as the authority in their life. It’s people who are committed to learn who He is, live according to the ways of His kingdom, and want to join Him in His mission for humanity. To that end, here are a couple of other things you should know about us:

You’re Welcome Here

Not sure about God? We don’t have every detail ironed out ourselves.  It’s a journey.  We get that.  Wherever you are, you’re welcome.  Sure, we’ve got positions on things but we’ve arrived at them through a process – and we’ve still got our questions too.  Our experience has taught us that the process is really important when it comes to developing faith.

We Root For People

We don’t root for more religion in people’s lives, we root for people themselves.  We root for people like us.  Messy, imperfect, broken people who want to have their lives count for something extraordinary.  People who are looking for freedom, wholeness, meaning, and for truth.  People who can be set free by Jesus and led in freedom by the Spirit of God.

This is usually where the best things happen. In an obscure place with very “normal” surroundings is where God likes to break in. Like the first Christmas.
