What We Believe

Our Statement of Faith…
but before you get there, you should know we believe God is unbelievably committed to all people (his creation) and will do anything (i.e. send his own son) to bring them (us) life. And that’s just what he did.

We also believe God created us for relationship with Himself, and that he initiates that relationship with us in many unique and personal ways—but most profoundly in showing up in the middle of his creation as one of us, Jesus—to rescue us from our own sins and to bring us life. Not only in heaven, but now.

God is deeply committed to loving us and remaking us into who He has always envisioned us to be, but it cant happen without Jesus rescuing us and the Holy Spirit leading us.

THE BIBLE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

GOD

We believe there is one almighty, perfect and triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, eternally coexistent personalities of the same essence. JESUS

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory. HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit, and in His ministry of convicting and regenerating sinful men, and indwelling, sealing and empowering believers. SIN

We believe in the fall of man from the state of innocence in which he was created to one of total depravity in which he is devoid of spiritual life, and incapable, apart from divine power, of pleasing God. CHURCH

We believe that the church universal is composed of all true believers and that its members should assemble themselves together in local churches for worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching with a view to being equipped to obey the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great Commission. We believe in the bodily resurrection of authentic Christ-followers to immortality, and in eternal separation from God and all things good for those who do not trust in the justifying work Jesus did on the cross.
