Our Story

We started in January of 2010 as an initiative from Heritage Christian Church in Westerville.

From Westerville?! Isn’t that a bit close? We know, it’s close. Like 5 miles close.
But, life in America seems to revolve around school districts and neighborhoods… so we were sent to start this church in the Olentangy
school district.

And, frankly, we’re super glad to be here.

The Bible paints a picture of Jesus setting us free to live the life we were created for — it’s a life guided by God and a life intended to point to Him. Somehow in saying ’yes’ to Jesus and following him, we discover the way, truth, and
life we’re all so hungry to find.

Along the way, Jesus encourages us to become a people who are known by our love for each other and the world. Unfortunately, the church hasn’t always done well here. And we wont be perfect either. But we’re committed to try to live out Jesus’ request to love God with all of who we are—our heart, soul, mind and strength—and also to love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves… and just maybe on a good day—even more.

Why not give it a go? C’mon. Let’s live freely, and love others—and God—boldly.
