Groups
We’re not made to do life alone. Ever notice that?
We believe that big impact results from the change that happens in small community. Real community is knowing and being known, loving and being loved, celebrating and being celebrated, serving and being served. It’s a place that’s safe enough for others to see and accept the real you without the masks and posturing we so easily put out there.
God uses these intimate connections with other people as a catalyst for change—in us, in others, and in Him. Together we’re shaped by God through His Word (the Bible)… but here’s the catch: authenticity is the currency of change (no pun intended). Seriously, we believe we can’t become who God has called us to be if we just play games with each other… we need a place to be real and not fake it.
So if you’re ready for something big, start by getting small. Here are some types of groups you might consider checking out at northchurch:
Life Groups
One of the main environments we believe in is Life Groups because we believe these small gatherings can have a big impact in your life. The thing that matters most is slowing down enough to really know and be known… to put ourselves in a position to be shaped by God in the community of friends.
If you’re interested in checking out a group, contact our small groups Pastor, Joel Hardin, to get more info.
Women’s Groups
We believe that you bring tremendous value wherever you go: be it to work, to your children, into your marriage, to your roommate, whether you’re younger, older, divorced, single, married, you matter. We have created groups, bible studies, book clubs & retreats specifically for you. Come check one out! There’s nothing special or fancy about them. Just real women, talking honestly about where we are in life and allowing God’s Word and His people to shape us. And, we work hard at not taking ourselves too seriously. So we laugh a lot!

Men’s Groups
We think men getting a cup of coffee and sharing God’s word, fears, victories, and challenges is powerful in any man’s life. We try to put ourselves in a position to be shaped by God in the company of other men. Other men doing the same thing. God wants to free every man’s heart to be what He intended, living out of strength and integrity.
Are you a man? Are you single? Are you married? If so, you’d be a perfect fit! Email men@northchurchcolumbus.com to get plugged in.
